Creating seed Mosaics

A Mosaic is a type of art in which small stones, glass and seeds are put together to create a pattern or images.

Creating seed Mosaic allows the children to explore seeds and handle them to create a design of their own..

The activity turned out beautiful with our little angels as they explored different seeds, their colours, sizes etc. Creating process also helped kids to learn motor skills to squeeze glue and place seeds in a unique pattern.

Gurupurab Celebrations

Guru Nanak Jayanti 2021-
Celebrations @ Cambridge.

As this year marks the 552 birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Devji’s, the school organised a special assembly to celebrate such a sacred festival that brings people together.

Today we witnessed soulful celebrations and understanding the literal meaning of the word Gurupurab that being- ‘the day of Guru. ”

All classes celebrated the occasion fervently be it online or offline. Off line mode started with a special assembly followed by class activities , all planned by Educators and students that portrayed a calm and serene environment to convey that how blessed we all are.

The day reminds us to follow the teachings of Guru Nanak Devji and remember the message of selfless service .

Doodles are spontaneous uncensored marks that are made quickly and can take many forms, from abstract patterns or designs to images of concrete objects. . Doodling has cognitive and emotional benefits.

It Helps to concentrate and can be a great creative Outlet.
It ignites creativity & is proven to boost relaxation, happiness and even problem-solving skills.

Keeping in mind the gamut of benefits a doodle activity was organised for classes III to VII. Our learners at Cambridge participated enthusiastically and thoroughly enjoyed the hands on activity.

Dussehera Celebration

Dusshera# Kindergarten Wing# Celebrations.

Dussehra is celebrated to mark the victory of good over evil. On this day Lord Rama killed the ten-headed demon Ravana and the day thus came to be known as Dussehra.

To mark the Dussehra celebrations, ravana making activity was organised at the Kindergarten Wing. Students prepared and decorated the effigies of Ravana.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

Kindergarten Gandhi Jayanti celebrations at Cambridge.

Gandhi Jayanti is observed by the entire nation to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Father of Our Nation – Mahatma Gandhi. Our young learners too celebrated Bapu’s birth anniversary with zeal, enthusiasm and with a patriotic feeling on a virtual session on 1st October 2021.

The little learners paid a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi
Spreading his idea of the three wise monkeys and how the idea is very much relevant in today’s context.

Clay Modelling Activity

Clay modeling by Kindergarten Wing.

Clay modelling activity was organised on 21st September. Students participated with a lot of gaiety and enthusiasm.

The tactile hands on nature of clay made children get engrossed while allowing for a high degree of creativity. Under the guidance and direction of their teachers our little ones came up with their own ideas and stunning creations.
Playing and crafting with clay being kids favourite activity they learnt basic shapes techniques and gained mastery of moulding. It was a great way to develop imagination and sparkle creativity to think out of the box……!!
This outstanding sensory activity enhanced dexterity, gross and fine motor skills and helped to boost the self-confidence of the students. It promoted problem solving skills as they experimented with the building techniques and adapted to changes along the way.

Animal Races and Games

Racing brings the running community together and forges new running friendships.
Keeping the great benefits of a good race in mind an animal race activity was organized in the online mode for Kindergarten Cambridge learners where the parents and the child made masks representing different animals and competed with each other in a race.
The little learners had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed the activity .
This activity helped learners to practice the gross motor skills at home by moving forward, backwards and side to side just like real life animals.

Hindi Divas at Cambridge

Hindi diwas is celebrated on 14 of September across schools, colleges, offices, and organisations to showcase the importance of the day and the language. The day commemorates the event when Hindi was adopted as one of the official languages of India.

It is celebrated to inculcate love for Hindi language and get knowledge on importance of the Hindi Diwas.

Our students at Cambridge displayed their love towards the mother tongue through a Quiz , speeches, poetry and by making wonderful drawings and illustrations to celebrate the day.

Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival that commemorates the birth of Lord Ganesha.
It falls on the fourth day of the waxing of the moon in the month of August or September .It is the most cherished and important Hindu festival.
Devotees, on the occasion, bring idols of Ganesha at their homes.
Our budding learners at Cambridge International celebrated the festival with great enthusiasm and made paper idols of lord Ganesha

Teacher’s day is celebrated all over the country on September 5 to honor Dr Radhakrishnan’s remarkable approach towards education and students. It is celebrated to express appreciation towards educators and their hard work. Teacher’s day is the perfect occasion for students to show how much they appreciate them for having a tremendous impact on their lives.
