Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations at Cambridge Mohali.

“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” – Mahatma Gandhi.

#Cambridge celebrated the birthday of India’s great leader, #MohandasKaramchandGandhi with great enthusiasm on 29th September- 2023. A #SpecialAssembly was organized by middle school that commenced with Bapu’s favourite Bhajan, “De di hamain azaadi ” with full exuberance highlighting the significance of the day. A skit depicting the role and contributions of #Gandhiji in freedom struggle by following #Truth and #Nonviolence was depicted.This was followed by a speech that highlighted the greatness of Gandhiji’s leadership role as a leader who did not occupy the seat of power and yet #influenced people with his values.

The students also actively participated in ‘Shramadaan” as part of #SwachhBharat.

The #KindergartenWing celebrated the theme #TruthandNonviolence as the tiny tots through the various presentations stressed on the value of #speaknoevil, #hearnoevil and #seenoevil.

The Class Educators shared with students the life and struggle of Mahatma Gandhi through effective craft work and slide shows.
