Cambridge celebrates International Girl Child Day

11th October, every year is celebrated as The International Day of the Girl Child.

Senior school conducted a #SpecialAssembly on 11th October that focused on the need to address the challenges girls face on day to day basis through #genderdiscrimination, #lackofopportunities and knowingly and unknowingly the neglect of #girlchildrights.

The assembly, through a powerful play, talked about girl #empowerment to provide equal opportunities through #genderequality to protect the #rights of a girl child.

Wonderful #artwork summarized that the life of every girl child should be like an open book where she gets to write her own story.

The students, through presentations, acknowledged that #educating a girl child is the most important thing that will make a #BIGDIFFERENCE.
