Day two of #Cambridge camp was designed on themes of #beattheheat , #scalenewheights and #discoveruniverse.

A #splashpoolactivity was organised for the students of kindergarten to Grade IV where kids had fun, dressed in colorful swimming costumes and enjoying on their favourite dance numbers.

Students showed great excitement and curiosity for #rockclimbing and for knowing about the #universe .

Poem Recitation

Cambridge enjoys the realm of poetry- Middle School.

The famous educator Wei Shusheng says: “The sense of language has also been strengthened by reciting more.”

In the process of English learning, the language material that students use are fairly rich and poetry leaves a #deepimpression on students.

Therefore, in recitation , they have to speak #correctly, and #express smoothly which increase students’ self-confidence , actual social abilities and improve their English level greatly.

Recitation is also one of the most important and effective modes of learning a language and #appreciating a piece of literature. The performance of the students from the #middleschool showcased that they were prepared well as they narrated with #selfconfidence, #oratory skills with #expression.

Rhyme Recitation Competition

RHYME RECITATION COMPETITION: CAMBRIDGE ENJOY THE REALM OF POETRY

#Poetry is the core of literature. To spread the #fragrance of poetry amongst the students of #PrimaryWing, a Class #PoemRecitationCompetition was organised in the school.

Our cute poets enjoyed the beauty of expression, thought, feeling, rhyme, rhythm and the music of words. The main purpose behind conducting such competitions is to build #self confidence, develop the #oratory skills and #selfexpression. The winners were applauded and praised for their capabilities.

International Family Day

#InternationalFamilyDay2023.

Kindergarten and Primary Wing celebrated Family Day on 15th May 2023. The Kindergarten Wing organized various activities for the tiny tots to realize and perceive the value of family in their life.

The celebration started with the assembly conducted by #GradeIV in which children were given an opportunity to express their feelings about their family.

The assembly enabled the students to recognize that the family provides a #senseofbelonging and a #unique identity to them. It also created a special emotional feeling in the students about their family.

The young learners participated in #handimpression and decorated #photoframe with pictures depicting the importance of this day.

Mother’s Day Celebration

“Mothers love – a brilliant GEM to be treasured.”

A #specialday that recognizes the #essence of a mother was celebrated in high spirits and merriment at #Cambridge. This day being one of those occasions that none of kids can afford to miss was zealously enjoyed by one and all.

Keeping the #bondingemotion in mind, the Kindergarten section had a special celebration on Friday – 12th May- 2023 for #mother’s day.

Teachers made an earnest effort to instill the importance of mother in a child’s life through effective thematic presentations which involved a host of activities with a joint participation from both the Mother and the child.

The students of KG I and KG II had something more special and unique to bring a smile on their beloved mother’s face. They presented a #welcomedance for their mothers that was appreciated by all present.

#Heart-warming feelings filled the air with #intimacy, #gratitude, #appreciation and #acknowledgement as the little ones proudly echoed and enchanted their feelings – “Mother will be our door to Paradise so, lets love, respect and care for our mother everyday”.

A special mention of all participating in the #Rampwalk that was thoroughly enjoyed by all #mothers.

All in all it was an #enjoyable and #memorableday for each and every child which left an indubitable mark on the innocent hearts.

World Athletics Day

#WorldAthleticsDay.

The #KindergartenWing celebrated the World Athletics Day on 5th May – 2023 with a #vision that every child is born #tomove, #toplay, and #toexplore. No matter where they are in the world, no matter their individual circumstances, it’s their fundamental right to have access to sport.

The programme for kindergarten was structured for all three levels, teaching both fundamental and athletics specific skills through a range of activities designed to #maximisefun and #participation.

As a foundation sport, athletics gives children the physical skills that enables them to move and explore. It’s a way to open up their world by giving them confidence in their physical abilities.

Labour Day

#labourdaycelebrations.

Cambridge celebrated the first day of May as Labour Day to acknowledge the efforts of ‘essential service providers.’ The students of Grade VI celebrated the Day with a special assembly to express #gratitude to ” support staff ” working in the school.

The employees were presented with #cards , #flowers and a #tokenofappreciation as a mark of #respect.

The assembly highlighted the facts for a better understanding of the labour community among all students who must learn to #respect and #appreciate their efforts. The other activities that marked the day were events like #TugofWar , #MusicalChairs etc for the support staff that were thoroughly enjoyed.

International Dance Day

Cambridge school has always emphasised on the importance of #extracurricularactivities with #dance being the most important.

The #Kindergarten tiny tots of Cambridge celebrated #InternationalDanceDay by dancing on their favorite dance number .

Students set the stage on fire with their scintillating performances, which included individual and group presentations.

This event made our toddlers aware of the diverse #danceforms prevalent across the country and few from other countries.

The event concluded with the young learners grooving on their favourite music along with their teachers.
